I chose to write this second edition of this wedding planning book because, as a busy professional myself—balancing a full-time career in finance, running a business, and maintaining a social life—I understand how hectic life can be.

Natalie Orr’s background in finance shines in the section, “Wedding Budget Saving Tips,” with an accompanying, thorough wedding budget checklist, included in the appendix. Another section we thought would be useful for DIY couples, is the “Wedding Essentials” page – where Natalie gives insights into issues that couples often overlook during wedding planning. The “Wedding Checklist by month,” also gives a good general guide of what couples should be looking at each month, in the lead-up to the wedding.

Upon receiving my copy of the Worriless Wedding & Events "Do it Yourself Wedding Guide" I was quite taken aback. When I began reading this guide, it was refreshing to learn that what I was feeling was something shared among other brides to be. The feeling of being overwhelmed and just needing some guidance on how to navigate through each stage of planning. This book has aided in easing my anxieties as I embarked on further planning my dream wedding, being a DIY bride already has its challenges and can seem daunting but this guide comes with useful tips and templates to stay the course.
